I went to Building Robotics. I see them building with Legos, wheels and robotic things. I see them pairing up in groups. I hear them talking together and deciding what to build. I hear them arguing and complimenting each other. I feel a hot and cold room at the same time.
They are talking about building a model with Legos. Also, they are talking about what color pieces the need to use. They are using Legos and model wheels. They are talking about what pieces to use and they are talking about what part they passed and what part they didn’t pass. They are in the robotics class in the summer Rainard building.
Materials in the class: computers, books, cubbies, cabinets, art supplies, desks and boxes.

Liz,
I can tell you are a budding writer because of all the detail you use when you write. It is hard to write from a reporter’s point of view and vary up the beginning of each sentence. If you have time, experiment with this by reading other journalist’s work and trying new ways yourself.

It seems like you gave a very complete description of what you observed in the class. I especially liked how you said you heard them “arguing and complimenting each other”. That shows you were really paying attention!
