I am from
Liz B
I am from China. I am pretty glad I’m not living in China. For one, in China you’ll live in a small house. For another, if you are a girl, you will probably be adopted, and everybody will probably ask you, “Are you adopted?” If you are interested in asking me, that’s what happened to me.
Also China is a great place. Just like July 4, June 1st (my birthday) is National Children’s Day. In China, I am from Guan Dong Province. I think I was adopted because my birth parents already had another child, or they needed a boy to work on the farms.
My dad promised me, “If we ever go on a trip to China, we will definitely go on the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall was built to protect the people of China from the people of Mongolia. China’s also super awesome! My dad says, “The Yellow Mountain is probably the most beautiful scenery. When I was born, I was raised in a hospital by a woman named Mrs. You. I also have a few good luck charms from China. I once went to see a few shows fromChina, like the one when the Chinese people fought with the
Mongolian people. First a lady did a few amazing things. Then the bad guys surrounded her…….boom! I thought the good guys came just in time because the bad guys wereabout to kill her They fought. I love China!

Interesting piece. I liked your description of China and the people in China. I’m glad you came to live here in the US.

This is such an interesting piece for two reasons: your experience is quite different from most in America and you did a great job telling us about it. I can tell that you are very inquisitive by your writing. This is great for the reader! I hope you keep writing, you have a great style!

Your Chinese heritage is something very special. Even though you might not want to live there, I am glad to see you are proud of where you are from.

I like your writing. I especially like how you provided several examples of why you like China. China is a pretty place. I have been to the Great Wall, and it really is an amazing creation.
Good job!
